All levels welcome. Space is limited to 6 students.

The new student will begin by working toward an understanding of traditional watercolor fundamentals through exercises in color, composition and technique and will be expected to experiment with a wide variety of subject matter and styles, with the goal of ultimately developing and working from their own source material. Students joining the classes who have had previous painting experience will be encouraged to develop a more personal, refined vision of their work with the possibility of pursuing future exhibition or grant opportunities. Classes take place at Ed Hinkley’s studio conveniently located in North Center/Lincoln Square.
