This 3-day workshop will take place Saturday afternoons April 6, 13, and 20, from 2 pm to 5 pm. Classes take place at the Ed Hinkley Studio.

Summer Workshop: “Watercolor/Gouache: Mixed Media Techniques for Developing Expressive Paintings”
June 16 – 21, 2013
In 2013, I’ll be returning to Higham Hall College in England’s Lake District to teach “Watercolor/Gouache: Mixed Media Techniques for Developing Expressive Paintings”. Participants will come to more fully understand and appreciate the role of spontaneity in honing observational skills that are central to the art making process. Higham is situated in a beautifully restored 19th century Gothic mansion with well tended gardens and spectacular views of Skiddaw and the Northern Fells in the Lake District.
